Tessa Virtue looks 'gorgeous' in white gown: 'Belle of the ball'
The former Olympian revealed her glam side in a new Instagram video.
Tessa Virtue is the "Belle of the ball."
Over the weekend, the Canadian ice dancer took to Instagram to share a video with her glam team ahead of Motionball 2023, a Toronto gala for the Special Olympics.
In the clip — makeup-free and in a bathrobe — the former Olympian completes a brief dance choreography before transitioning into her stunning final look: a fitted, sleeveless white gown.
"Having a ball whilst getting ready for the (motion) ball!" she cleverly captioned the Instagram Reel.
In the comments, fans praised Virtue and her "backup dancers" for the "adorable" video and "gorgeous" ensemble.
"Belle of the ball! I love this so much. You look stunning, and the little dance number is adorable," a fan wrote, while another Instagram user added, "Girl, this look is [fire]."
"This is so fun! Love it! The best team! And you look gorgeous!" someone else penned.
One person chimed in: "Glowing!" alongside a flame and clapping emoji.
"It's the dress and backup dancers for me. This is so cute!" commented another.
Last month, Virtue shared a carousel of makeup-free photos enjoying some "R&R," with her fiancé, Toronto Maple Leafs player Morgan Rielly, and their two dogs on a snowy getaway.
In the first photo, the 33-year-old smiled candidly while laying down in the snow with Rielly and one of their dogs, while in another, she posed in a matching dark grey lounge set, with her hair in a bun, holding a "T" mug.
"A little R&R," she captioned the post.
Virtue's photos were met with praise from fans for sharing the "wholesome" moments.
"Absolutely adorable," an Instagram user commented.
Another added: "Aww, that first pic is adorable!"
"These are so cute. You two look so cozy! Love it," someone else wrote.
"Cozy season," a fan shared, while another commented, "You look so good without makeup! A cozy, natural beauty."
