'Swiftie' Tessa Virtue takes on Chicago to attend Taylor Swift's latest concert
Tessa Virtue and her fiancé Morgan Rielly took in the sights and sounds of Chicago over the weekend.
Tessa Virtue is giving fans a glimpse into her fun-filled visit to Chicago — Taylor Swift concert and all.
The former Olympian shared a carousel of photos to her Instagram account on Monday, providing a rundown of her weekend getaway spent with her fiancé, Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Morgan Rielly.
"What a weekend in Chi-Town!" Virtue captioned the post, along with a sparkling star emoji.
In the first photo of the bunch, the 34-year-old posed outside Chicago Soldier Field, dressed in a monochromatic look. Virtue paired an off-white denim jacket with matching straight-leg jeans, a white T-shirt, and black and white Adidas sneakers for her concert look.
The Canadian ice dancer also shared a few snaps and videos from inside the stadium, where she and Rielly, 29, took in the sights and sounds of Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour.
Among the concert photos, Virtue also included snaps of some Chicago tourist staples, as she and Rielly posed for a selfie in front of the Cloud Gate "bean" sculpture, and enjoyed a deep-dish pizza.
Fans couldn't get enough of the couple's adorable weekend getaway, and took to the comments to share the love.
"Not sure what I love more — Morgan Rielly wearing a Springsteen shirt or the fact that Tessa and Morgan saw Taylor Swift together," commented one fan.
"You guys are living our dreams!" penned another.
"Chicago and T Swift? Might be a dream combo," added a third.
"We LOVE Swiftie Tessa," shared another.
The sweet weekend getaway comes a few months after Virtue confirmed her engagement to Rielly on the "Without Losing Your Cool" podcast back in January.
She went on to explain that she met her Vancouver-born partner through mutual friends.
The duo kept their relationship low-key for years, but first went public in March 2020 after going live together on an Instagram livestream hosted by Canadian band Arkells.
