A new set of Daisy Jones & the Six episodes is out, and episode six features Camila Dunne (Camila Morrone) begin to explore her career as a photographer. "Maybe I just need something of my own," Camila tells Karen (Suki Waterhouse).

However, her photographs have already been part of the show! The opening credits, post producer Mandi Price explained, are inspired by Camila taking a photograph. It's the still that appears in the credits for Camila Morrone:

"The easter egg of the main title sequence," Price says in a TikTok shared by Reese's Book Club, "is that it's from Cami's point of view. She's a photographer, and it's her photos through the whole main title."

"It was a long process, but it's one of the most special main titles for me that I've ever worked on," Price says.

The music in the credit sequence is not a Daisy Jones & the Six song; rather, it's "Dancing Barefoot" by Patti Smith. "We talked about wanting to kick off the series with something that represents the show but is outside the show," showrunner Scott Neustadter said. "That was the song that I thought would work the best. I came up with it really early and then spent the next six or seven months trying to beat it. I could never beat it. It's too perfect."

Patti's lyrics—I'm dancing barefoot/ Heading for a spin/ Some strange music draws me in/ Makes me come on like some heroine—sum up the character of Daisy Jones.

"It's so spot on and it's telling the story by not telling the story," he continued. "It has a lot of drama to it. It's a perfect TV theme song. We kept the Six songs to not be spoilers. Because they sound very different in the first episode than they do in the tenth. They have to go on that journey before you hear that sound, so that was the reason why."
