If there was one breakout trend from the 2020 Academy Awards, there’s no denying it was sequins.

Celebs of all ages rocked this trend in every shade from pale pink to bold copper, but it’s the women over 50 who truly dazzled the red carpet in this classic and glamorous style.

Stars like Renee Zellweger, Geena Davis, Catherine O’Hara and Rita Wilson embraced the bedazzled look, proving that glitz and glam is absolutely ageless.

At the Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party, the ladies over 50 also opted for bling, as Jane Seymour, Vivica A. Fox and Donatella Versace all sparkled in sequinned looks.
