Thin Mints Frosty now available at Wendy's for a limited time: Here's what to know

The wait is finally over.

After announcing nearly a month ago that Thin Mints Frosty were coming to Wendy's restaurants nationwide, the dessert arrived in stores Friday, Feb. 21, the same day Girl Scout Cookies are available to be purchased by all.

According to Wendy's, the Frosty combines the flavor profiles of two "iconic fan favorites" for a delectable and minty treat. The dessert will be available for a limited time while supplies last.

The fast food chain says the Thin Mints Frosty combines a classic chocolate or vanilla Frosty, swirled and topped with a rich, minty cookie crumble sauce inspired by the popular Girl Scout cookie flavor.

Additionally, Wendy's said more than 4,200 of its restaurants across the country are "ready to host Girl Scout troops throughout the Girl Scout Cookie season to help local troops reach their goals."

"Wendy’s new Thin Mints Frosty is an amazing tribute to the countless Girl Scouts who have made Thin Mints a household name, all while learning skills like entrepreneurism, goal setting, business ethics and more,” Wendy Lou, chief revenue officer for GSUSA, said in a statement last month.

"Plus, everyone knows Thin Mints are extra delicious when frozen," Wendy's said in a news release. "Each bite pairs minty-chocolatey, crumbly, cookie butter texture with the cool, creamy Frosty."
