This is officially the most fun you can have applying sunscreen

Putting on sunscreen can be a pain. Between ensuring you haven’t missed a spot and having to reapply, you’re basically setting yourself up for a sunburn every time you go outside.

Recently, the Skin Cancer Foundation discovered that South Africa – particularly Cape Town – has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world. In order to combat this widespread problem, Nivea created a water slide called the “SunSlide” that would turn applying sunscreen into something fun.

Set up on the beach, the slide looks like your average water slide except instead of water, the jets are fueled with sunscreen.

“The massive water slide is equipped with hundreds of spray-jet portals and filled up with 50 liters (roughly 13 gallons) of SPF 50+ waterproof sunscreen to ensure all participants get equal coverage,” AdWeek reports.

Before getting on the slide, kid put on goggles to protect their eyes and then went sliding down.

“The Nivea SunSlide was a huge success, covering over 100 kids an hour,” said Mike Barnwell, executive creative director at FCB Cape Town. “In the end, plenty of fun was had by all, including a few parents who couldn’t help joining in.“

While Nivea still suggest rubbing in the sunscreen after each slide, it’s definitely a lot more fun then having to stand still while its applied from a bottle.
