Tia Carrere is "shutting down" the Oscars 2023 red carpet.

The "Wayne's World" actress surprised fans on Sunday night when she arrived at the 95th annual Academy Awards donning a dazzling green sequinned dress.

Carrere wore a long sleeve, high-neck green gown covered in sequins cinched at the waist with a gold belt. For makeup, the 56-year-old went ultra-glam with a matching green smoky eye and nude lipgloss.

The Filipino-American actress and singer is best known for her roles in films like 1994's "True Lies" and 1992's "Wayne's World." The Honolulu-born star also voiced the role of Nani, Lilo's older sister and legal guardian, in the 2002 Disney animated movie "Lilo and Stitch."

Most recently, Carrere joined forces with comedians Jo Koy, Jimmy O. Yang, and Tiffany Haddish in the 2022 film "Easter Sunday."

Fans on Twitter were quick to praise the actress' glamorous Oscars look, writing that "Tia Carrere [was] shutting it down in that green [dress]."

She "always looks stunning," penned one user.

"Living for Tia Carrere!" wrote another.

"Bond girl!" said a third Twitter fan.

"Tia Carrere has had a hold on me since the first time I saw Wayne's World," praised one follower.

While a fifth user summarized the look perfectly in one word: "Swoon!"

This evening's star-studded ceremony is being hosted by comedian Jimmy Kimmel — his third time assuming the role. The Academy Awards are being held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Following last year's controversial interaction — and slap — between Will Smith and Chris Rock, fans and critics will be watching closely to see what happens live.

The films competing for this year's coveted best picture award include "All Quiet on the Western Front;" "Avatar: The Way of Water;" "The Banshees of Inisherin;" "Elvis;" "Everything Everywhere All at Once;" "The Fabelmans;" "Tár;" "Top Gun: Maverick;" "Triangle of Sadness" and "Women Talking."
