Tiffany & Co. Debuts Reimagined Flagship in Chengdu, China
Tiffany & Co. has debuted its newly transformed Taikoo Li flagship in Chengdu, China. The boutique is the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned brand’s first triplex flagship in the country, blending American jeweler’s codes with the spirt of Chengdu.
The facade uses a captivating design by architect Hugh Dutton with a kinetic light sculpture playing on the brand’s legacy in diamonds. Tiffany & Co.’s latest design concept is both a nod to The Landmark in New York City and a showcase for the breadth of its creations, including high jewelry, fine jewelry, watches and home objects.

Upon entering, clients are greeted by a warm environment featuring delicate Tiffany Blue touches. The store’s first floor highlights “The World of Tiffany,” welcoming guests with hand-painted bespoke walls in a custom blue by artist Nancy Lorenz. Visitors can discover the house’s most definitive collections, including Lock by Tiffany, HardWear by Tiffany, T by Tiffany and Knot by Tiffany. Inspired by the local magnolia flower, a nod to Chengdu’s vibrant culture, a chandelier by artist Andreea Braescu illuminates the space.
The second floor is “All About Love,” featuring a diamond vitrine designed with “Color & Light, 2024,” a piece by Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto complimenting the environment. The Tiffany High Jewelry section showcases its most unique creations in frosted glass pyramid vitrines inspired by a Jean Schlumberger design from the 1950s. Within the space are custom-made shimmering panels by Lorenz, a take on a jewelry box. The floor also includes the only watch salon in China, highlighting the brand’s deep horological legacy.
On the third floor, clients can see home, leather accessories and baby offerings. Meant to be an intimate shopping experience, the floor includes a private lounge and dining room. Commissioned specifically for Tiffany & Co., the lounge features an exquisite art masterpiece titled “Tiffany Cute, 2024,” featuring butterflies and various shades of blue by artist Damien Hirst. The private dining room is adorned with a bespoke wallpaper featuring an immersive experience of Chengdu Renmin Park. Uplifting a symbol of Chengdu, the third floor’s baby room adds a playful touch with panda chairs by Brazilian designers, the Campana Brothers.
