Tiger Woods's $100 Nike mockneck 'all but gone in a couple of hours' — but the look has fans divided
Tiger Woods had an undeniably memorable weekend, but the look that he wore during his fifth win in Augusta is dividing fans.
For his fairytale Masters comeback, the golf icon wore a Nike mock neck shirt that retails for $100 - and it’s a look that many remember.

“I thought it was a pretty neat look back in the day,” Woods said about repeating the fashion choice. “I was probably in a little better shape back in those days, but I had won events wearing the mock, and I’ve always enjoyed wearing them.”
The look was so popular that eager fans looking to replicate it almost crashed Golf Town’s website:
Sitting with a Golf Town exec in Augusta. Demand for the Nike red mock almost crashed the site. All but gone in a couple hours.

But not everyone is loving the icon’s comeback look.
What’s up with Tiger’s pitiful attire at the Masters? #mockneck #grandpashoes

There’s one question golf consumers need to ask themselves before buying a new mockneck: “Did I just win the Masters for the 5th time?” If the answer is NO, step away from the purchase.

Others appreciated his homage to his previous glory at Augusta:

A similar mock neck is currently sold out at Nordstrom, but you can still pick one up at Golf Town for $100, at Dick’s Sporting Goods for $85, or at The Golf Warehouse, also for $85.
What do you think of the mock neck look? Is it a trendy fashion statement, or a look better left in 2005?
