Tom Holland Explains Why He and Zendaya Rarely Do Red Carpets Together
Tom Holland has long made it clear that he’s deeply in love with his longtime partner, Zendaya. However, there’s a very good reason that the couple has not posed together on a red carpet since their last joint project (2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home).

Holland told Men’s Health that while he does go to Zendaya’s premieres, he generally avoids doing the red carpet with her 'because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us.' Holland skips most non-mandatory events for that same reason: He does not want to take attention away from the other actors.
Holland offered a little more insight into his mostly private life with Zendaya. He revealed they now share two dogs, Noon and Daphne. Both he and Zendaya have spoken in the past about their interest in having a family someday. Holland opened up about his career plans after that milestone: 'When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. [It’ll just be] golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth.'
He also recounted a story about how he wanted to show his partner and cousin he could still do a backflip at age 28.
'I went outside, and I was getting ready, and I was thinking, "I can do this. I can totally do this. I’ve done this thousands of times,"' he recalled. 'And Z was there, and she was like, "Are you sure you can still do this?"' He assured her he could, then did it. 'I actually did land it, but I pulled every muscle in my stomach, because when you do a backflip, it’s all about extending up as much as you can and then tucking. For weeks, I could not laugh because my stomach was so sore.'
