Nobody can pull a plot twist quite like Netflix — take the newest series "Too Hot to Handle" for example. The show follows a group of commitment-phobic, self-proclaimed hotties who are lured to a tropical paradise only to find out that they can’t get intimate with the other contestants — in exchange fo a shared cash prize of $100,000.

But if we’re talking real drama, nobody can compare to Canada’s very own “Too Hot To Handle” contestant, Francesca Farago. Best known for her rule-breaking schemes and who she can’t keep her hands off of, the 26-year old Vancouver-based model/influencer has made a name for herself across social media platforms. But reality show drama aside, Farago reveals the not-so-ugly truth about when the cameras aren’t rolling.

While all the contestants looked like they had a professional makeup crew running up to do touch-ups between takes, Farago tells Refinery29 it was anything but that.

“It was just us doing our makeup,” she said, before noting the advantage of air-conditioned key spots. “There were times that we would get really hot under the lights. If there was a little break, we would run into the bedroom or the dressing room.”

While the tension between the contestants might have played out on screen, the Farago says that the overall vibe in the makeup room was much more cordial — enough that all the female casts of the show shared one tube of lipgloss which belonged to contestant Haley Cureton (which Farago admits iwasn’t the most the sanitary move).

The lippie in question, of course, is none other than the Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Lip Plumper.

The original clear formula is a plumping gloss designed to instantly give the lips a fuller and pouty look that is sure to last. Made to be the perfect primer or topper to any of your favourite lipsticks, it is also made to nurture and condition the lips.

Backed up by jaw-dropping before-and-after clips, 2,000 reviews and more than 130,000 “loves” on Sephora’s website, the lip plumper seems to work magically for just about everyone who tries it.

“I have used a lot of lip plumpers, from high end to drugstore, and this is the best one. I have not tried the colours, just the clear one, and it is my favourite. Is not sticky at all and drastically plumps my lips,” raves one reviewer. “If you hate the tingly/burning feeling, then this may not be for you - but I don't mind that at all. Will buy this over and over again.”

“Love this gloss! It is a little pricey for a gloss, but worth every dollar! It gives enough plump to still look natural, smells amazing, and moisturizes your lips very nicely too,” says another.

While 97 per cent of users report that it delivers instant results and 93 per cent say lips look fuller and plumper after the initial use, many of the reviews mention a strong burning sensation upon application.

Like most lip plumpers, this one leaves a tingly sensation which is caused by its medically-proven blood vessel dilating technology.

While this gloss is proven to give deliver instant results, we can’t guarantee that’ll give you the effect of Farago’s plumped lips.

In a YouTube post, she opens up about her surgical and non-surgical cosmetics procedures. “Of course, I get my lips injected. I’ve been doing it for probably four years now (four/five years),” she explains. “It is a process to get them the way you want them but it takes building and years and years. When you first start doing it, it’s not going to look voluptuous — it’s a very slow process.”

When it comes to the rest of Farago’s makeup, she gives credit to younger sister forgiving her crash course in game-changing products. With her sister’s guidance, she packed KVD Vegan Beauty Tattoo Liner and Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder before heading to the island.
