Looking to visit a glorious flower field? From dazzling lavender displays to rolling carpets of colourful tulips, there are plenty of beautiful fields you won't believe are in the UK.
Some flower fields even offer pick-your-own services so you can take a bunch home with you. Please note that many fields require you to pre-book (even if they are free), so always check before you travel.

Hitchin Lavender, Hertfordshire
Over in Hertfordshire, Hitchin Lavender is in full bloom from July to September. Just 40 minutes from central London, it's one of the most Instagrammable flower fields in the UK, with more than 30,ooo hashtags. Planning a visit this summer? You'll find 25 acres of land, a 17th century barn and a sea of gorgeous lilac. According to a recent study by Premier Inn, Hitchin has been named among the most beautiful flower fields in the world for 2024.
Rhossili Bay, Wales
The National Trust's Rhossili Bay is home to 15 hectares of wildflower meadows and over 17 sunflower fields. Located along the beautiful South Gower coastline in Wales, it's a breathtaking maze-like display to enjoy each summer.
Confetti Fields, Worcestershire
Situated in the Wyke Manor Estate, the famous confetti fields from the Real Flower Petal Confetti Company are definitely worth exploring. Open to the public in June and July, you'll find hundreds of beautiful, natural and biodegradable flowers.
Tulleys Farm, Crawley, West Sussex
Tulleys Farm in West Sussex might be best known for its impressive pumpkin patches, but have you been to visit their colourful fields of tulips in spring? Dubbed 'a taste of Holland', the fields are filled with 500,000 tulips and 100 different varieties in a vibrant tapestry of colours, ranging from the deepest purples and blues to the most luminous yellows and reds. Come back in July to visit their sunflower field.
Cotswold Lavender
Set against the backdrop of the Cotswolds countryside, this breathtaking lavender field is the ultimate spot to visit this summer. Owned by a third-generation family, follow them on Instagram to watch as the lavender blooms. The Lavender Fields will be open from Wednesday 14th June to Sunday 6th August 2024.
Castle Farm, Kent
The UK's largest producer of lavender oil products, Castle Farm is based near the pretty village of Shoreham in north Kent. Expect to see over 130 acres of the fragrant purple flower, plus a well-stocked shop.
