Trader Joe’s Is Selling a $5 Limited-Edition French Dessert
I’ve traveled to a few European countries over the years, but France always holds a special place in my heart (and stomach!). When I touch down there, the first activity I embark on is a trip to the patisserie. I meticulously scan all of the desserts and fill up my tote with delicacies to dig into. Petit fours are always a must-snag during these travels — the two-bite petite cakes are irresistible.
Trader Joe’s taps into people’s nostalgia by offering a variety of delicious foods inspired by global flavors. It regularly stocks its shelves with exciting products. So when I learned they released a version of Petit Fours, I made a mental note to grab a box the next time I visit the store.
The Petit Fours Mousse Cakes are currently in stock at Trader Joe’s for $4.99. Each pack comes with nine gorgeously decorated two-bite cakes. The petit fours come in three varieties: a rich chocolate cake layered with smooth chocolate mousse and coated in dark chocolate; a vanilla cake layered with creamy vanilla mousse, coated in a vanilla glaze, and topped with pearl sugar; and a chocolate cake filled with creamy coffee mousse, covered in a mocha glaze, and garnished with dark chocolate bits and sugar.
