Warmer days are ahead, and if you’re starting to think about the beers you’ll want to sip all summer then a trip to Trader Joe’s is a must for some inspiration. The store just dropped a new Imperial Porter that tastes like a popular chocolate, and it definitely deserves a spot in your cooler this year.

Trader Joe’s just added a Reese’s peanut butter cup-inspired beer to its shelves. The new brew was made in collaboration with Hardywood Park, an award-winning Virginia brewery.

If you take a trip to the boozy aisle — filled with tons of libations, from wine to canned cocktails — at Trader Joe’s, you’ll spot a four-pack of Hardywood Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Porters. As the name suggests, they’re inspired by the classic combo of chocolate and peanut butter.

Trader Joe’s website describes these Imperial Porters as “rich, decadent, and irresistibly smooth, with notes of dark chocolate and creamy peanut butter in every sip.” Each can has a 9.2% ABV, which is on par for this type of brew.

Once you get your hands on this beer, head to the snack aisle at Trader Joe’s to stock up on some perfect pairings. You’ll find treats like Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, Chocolate-Covered Wafer Cookies with Peanut Butter Filling, and Chocolate & Peanut Butter Joe-Joe’s.

Trader Joe’s is keeping its shelves stocked with exciting new drinks, including seasonal ones. The store recently rolled out a display of St. Paddy’s Day-inspired options, from packs of Guinness beer to special reserve Irish whiskey.

With warmer days just around the corner, Trader Joe’s is making it easy to stock up on delicious ingredients and drinks. Whether you’re picking up their new Reese’s-inspired Imperial Stout or some Irish whiskey, you’ll find plenty of great options for your at-home bartending needs.
