Travis Kelce Says It's Costing Him a Fortune to Have Friends and Family Attend the Super Bowl
As you're likely aware due to the ongoing discourse about whether or not Taylor Swift can make it in time, the Super Bowl is on Sunday. And apparently it's an absolute fortune to attend—even if you're a close friend or family member of the players. But it looks like Travis Kelce is willing to spend a buncha money to ensure his crew get good seats.
“I’m not really doing much different other than just counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come,” Travis told his brother Jason Kelce during this week's episode of their podcast, New Heights (via Page Six). “Just making sure I’m on top of those finances and losing all this money."
Travis' mom Donna Kelce already mentioned that she doesn't think she'll make it into a suite because of how expensive it is, telling Today "Well, you can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multi-million dollars. So, I have a feeling I’m not in a box, I have a feeling I am in the stands. As far as I know I’m in the stands with everybody else because it is a pricey Super Bowl."

Meanwhile, 49ers player Christian McCaffrey's mom Lisa McCaffrey reportedly said "We are not in a suite, I will tell you that. They are outrageously expensive. They are stupidly expensive. I don't know if it's the Taylor Swift factor or the first time in Vegas factor."
According to CBS, the average price for a Super Bowl stands ticket as of the Wednesday before the game was $8,600, while the most expensive asking price from resellers was $45,000. Meanwhile, TMZ reports that the luxury suites are $2.5 million and come with a buncha fancy food and a full-service bar.
