I Tried the Nike 24.7 Collection Worn by Serena Williams During Super Bowl 2025

I am always on the hunt for the perfect pieces that match my lifestyle, which is why I've had my eyes on the Nike 24.7 collection ever since it was announced.

As a fashion editor, I spend a lot of my time at work, and because of that, I’ve made it my life’s mission to diversify my free time with workouts, dance classes, and my indoor volleyball league. That means I usually spend most of my time running between dinners and games and always lack the perfect post-activity outfit. This past week, I left my volleyball game wearing a hodgepodge of clothing items: The sweaty T-shirt I wore during the game, a pair of patterned comfy pants I pulled out of my closet for my 45-minute subway ride, shiny silver western boots, and a burgundy faux fur coat — pieces originally part of my NYFW outfit from earlier in the day.

This rather embarrassing outfit cocktail made me realize that I needed better, relaxed pieces that could work at any time of the day. So when I learned about the Nike 24.7 collection, worn by Serena Williams herself during Super Bowl LIX, I knew I had to try it. (What can I say? As a distinguished hater myself, born on the same day as Kendrick Lamar, I just couldn't resist seeing her skirt swishing through the wind as she crip walked while staring directly at the camera!)

I opted for a tan sweater and matching pants because, again, I sadly am in the frigid winter in New York City, and skirts sans tights are just not on my list of things to wear right now. I decided to try out these pieces in the gym to see their durability and sweat levels. And then I wore it again to work, snazzy-ing it up to see if I could convince my bosses that sweats are, in fact, appropriate workwear.

Nike 24.7 unveiled two new technical materials that pair with the brand’s industry-leading Dri-FIT technology to offer a new standard of comfort in elevated, polished athletic style. ImpossiblySoft is a refined, Spacer-knit fabric with a four-way stretch that offers everyday comfort with a luxurious feel. The material is featured in the Nike 24.7 collection’s women’s and men’s half-zip and crew-neck silhouettes, as well as a women’s jogger and men’s pants. PerfectStretch is a tailored, four-way stretch fabric that delivers effortless comfort and a polished look and feel. The material is featured in the pleated skirt, wide-leg pants and woven shirt for women, and chino and five-pocket pants for men.

I’m wearing the Women's Dri-FIT High-Waisted Loose Wide-Leg Pants and the Women's Dri-FIT Oversized 1/2-Zip Top in an XL in these pics. And while I couldn't tell you how exactly the clothes are engineered, I can tell you that the fit is great and very comfortable. They are also winter-approved. I layered a long-sleeved shirt underneath and wore a Canada Goose coat on top, and it was rather warm during my commute, which was a pleasant surprise. I received two sets, one in an XL and XXL, and both were comfortable with a relaxed fit. The material is uber soft and warm, and though I've yet to wash them, they withstood my busy days without any hurdles or smells.

While I paired my picks with sneakers, which definitely toned down the look (sorry, it was snowing outside!), their design actually resembles very comfortable slacks, so with the right top and shoes, you can easily wear these as office pants as well. As someone who will always choose comfort first when getting dressed, these pieces will surely become my go-to moving forward.
