I Tried All The Starbucks Oleato Drinks—Here's What To Expect
If you've been waiting to get your hands on a Starbucks Oleato drink, now's your chance. The Partanna olive oil-infused drinks were launched in the U.S. in March 2023, but have only been available in select markets. Now, on January 30, two Oleato drinks will make their way to permanent menus in every U.S. Starbucks location—this includes licensed stores like the ones in grocery stores and airports.
The menu will include the Oleato Caffé Latte with Oatmilk and the brand new Oleato Golden Foam Iced Shaken Espresso with Toffeenut. Customers will also have the option to add Oleato Golden Foam to any drink.
We got a taste of the new menu, and here's what you can expect.
Oleato Caffè Latte with Oatmilk
Does extra virgin olive oil actually level up your latte? Yes, it does. This luxuriously creamy drink is available hot or iced and combines Starbucks Blonde Espresso Roast, oat milk, and olive oil. While you can smell the olive oil, the flavor is much more subtle. If you like the taste of olive oil and prefer a classic, unsweetened coffee drink, this one's for you.
Oleato Golden Foam Iced Shaken Espresso with Toffeenut
Yes, the name's a mouth full, but we think this drink is going to be a fan favorite. Starbucks' Iced Shaken Espresso drinks are a big hit, and this one combines oat milk, Blonde espresso, and toffeenut, and is topped with Oleato Golden Foam. There's no olive oil in the drink apart from foam on top, so if you're skeptical of Oleato, you should order this first. The sweet and salty toffeenut combines with the lush Golden Foam, making this drink taste almost...buttery.
Oleato Golden Foam
If you love cold foam, you should try adding this customization to your order. Vanilla sweet cream is infused with olive oil to create a creamy cold foam that can be added to any drink. Starbucks will have four recommended Oleato Golden Foam customizations in the app, but any cold coffee can now be customized with the topping. The recommended drinks are the Iced Chai Tea Latte, Iced Matcha Tea Latte, Dragon Drink Starbucks Refresher, and Paradise Drink Starbucks Refresher.
