Usha Vance Wears Green Military Coat by Mackage in Munich
Usha Vance put forth an updated take on the double-breasted coat yesterday in Munich, Germany. The Second Lady and wife of Vice President JD Vance stepped out with her husband yesterday while wearing an asymmetrical coat by Mackage.
Usha opted to wear the luxury outwear company’s Elodie coat. The green military coat features epaulettes at the shoulders and leather-trimmed pockets. Usha wore the coat while attending the 61st Munich Security Conference (MSC).

Mackage outerwear also made headlines this past week when Meghan Markle wore a puffer coat by the brand at the 2025 Invictus Games in Whistler, Canada. The Duchess of Sussex paired the coat with a black sweater, skinny jeans, a ribbed beanie, and faux fur-trimmed Sorel boots.
Mackage recently released a new lineup for 2025 consisting of four drops dubbed “The Elements.” The company, which is currently working to position itself as a lifestyle brand, geared its four collections this year towards sustainability and climate change.
“With global warming and sustainability in mind as well as the broader conversation about climate change, this collection addresses that,” Ludwig Heissmeyer, head of design and product development at Mackage, told WWD, adding of “The Elements,” “It’s designed to protect you from all the elements while also serving as a multi-seasonal staple in your closet.”
Usha Vance also made outerwear the focus of her style at Donald Trump‘s second inauguration ceremony in Washington, D.C last month where she wore a tailored Oscar de la Renta ensemble. Usha opted for a blush-pink coat and paired it with tonal suede knee-high boots, a small clutch, and statement floral earrings.
The Second Lady also wore Oscar de la Renta the night before inauguration. She chose a custom noir black velvet strapless gown by the label that featured asymmetrical floral accents cascading along the bodice and a structured sweetheart neckline.
Last week the Vances met with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, for a working lunch in Paris. For the occasion, Usha wore Favorite Daughter’s gray V-neck dress — the same one she wore in white while attending the National Prayer Service at Washington National Cathedral on Jan. 21, accompanied by U.S. President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump.
