Usher Does Satin Suiting and Wife Jennifer Drips in Crystal-embellished Zuhair Murad Tuxedo Dress at NAACP Image Awards 2024
Usher arrived with his wife, Jennifer Goicoechea Raymond, to the 55th NAACP Image Awards at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall on Saturday in Los Angeles to be honored with the President’s Award.
The “Standing Next to You” singer walked the red carpet in a black satin suit by LaQuan Smith, complete with extended sleeves, an open neckline and matching black cummerbund. He accessorized with diamond Chopard jewelry.

Jennifer arrived wearing a floor-length black blazer dress from the Zuhair Murad spring 2023 collection. The look featured a tailored bodice and floor-length skirt. The pockets and sleeves were dripping with crystal embellishments.

The rest of the Zuhair Murad spring 2023 collection similarly played with the traditional suit silhouette, embellishing oversized blazers with crystal appliqués. Other textural elements found within the presentation were feather, mosaic and embroidered adornments.
Jennifer styled her monochromatic ensemble with minimal jewelry. The star kept her hair cropped short in a blunt bob and wore a natural makeup look that used soft peach tones along her cheekbones and a muted mauve shade on her lips.
The 2024 NAACP Image Awards honor the accomplishments of Black creatives in film, television and music. Queen Latifah hosted the ceremony and winners were announced prior to the show’s air date. This year’s honorees include Usher, H.E.R., Megan Thee Stallion, June Ambrose and Ciara.
