Vera Wang, 72, looks glamorous in plunging pink evening gown: 'Simply ageless'
Vera Wang has fans convinced that she is "incapable of aging" after sharing photos of her latest red carpet look.
On Wednesday, the 72-year-old shared photos from the Hot Pink Party hosted by the the Breast Cancer Research Fund (BCRF) in New York City. The designer looked elegant in a sparkly pink gown with a dramatic plunging neckline which she accessorized with a matching headpiece, diamond necklaces and edgy black nail polish.
The evening raised a record-breaking $8.5 million to support the BCRF, the largest private contributor to breast cancer research in the world founded by Evelyn Lauder in 1993.
"Think Pink…… So happy to be able to celebrate the BCRF again! In memory of the late great Evelyn Lauder. You helped to change the world," Wang captioned her post.
Wang's post was quickly met with a slew of comments praising her youthful look.
"This is what glamour is! Beauty has no age limit," one person commented.
"Yes Vera! You seem to be aging in reverse! You look incredible," added another.
"Simply ageless! Seeing you rock a dress like that at your age, looking absolutely fabulous, gives me the courage to flaunt what I got!" said a follower. "It's also so wonderful to see you supporting such a great organization."
This isn't the first time that the designer has stunned fans with her youthful appearance. In 2020, Wang shared photos of herself modelling her own hair accessories for David's Bridal, showing off her toned figure and ageless glow.
The post quickly went viral, with over 2,000 comments asking for her secret to ageless beauty.
"I cannot believe this woman is in her 70s. She looks absolutely incredible!" one person said.
"Looking good, Vera! You never age!" added another.
"How do you look so great at your age? Can you spill your secrets?" commented another fan.
Wang told ELLE that she was "totally shocked" by the viral reaction to the post, but shared that her secret to eternal youth was "work, sleep, a vodka cocktail, [and] not much sun."
