She's the star of "The Woman King," and on the 2023 Golden Globes red carpet — Viola Davis is the "freaking queen."

Davis, 57, made her royal blue entrance on the red carpet on Tuesday alongside her husband and fellow "The Woman King" cast member, Julius Tennon, 69.

The Oscar-winning star was nominated for yet another award for her role as General Nanisca in "The Woman King" — praised as a career-best for the actress.

Competing against her in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture — Drama category is Ana de Armas for "Blonde," Cate Blanchett for "TÁR," Olivia Colman for "Empire of Light," and Michelle Williams for "The Fablemans."

The star's form-fitting blue gown was a custom design by Jason Wu, which she paired with a silver clutch by high-street designer Kurt Geiger.

Her stylish, Elizabeth Stewart, who also worked with Golden Globes nominee Jessica Chastain, posted a series of behind-the-scenes photos on her Instagram account, highlighting Davis' Chopard jewels and her hair and makeup teams.

"Yasssssssssss," dress designer Jason Wu commented on the post.

"Stunning!" fellow stylist Samantha McMillen penned.

'Freaking queen'

Viola Davis is the "freaking queen," wrote another Instagram user.

"Electric blue for an electric actor!" commented one fan.

"Queen Viola," raved another. She is "gorgeous [from] head to toe!"

The 2023 Golden Globe Awards is hosted by comedian Jerrod Carmichael and marks the award show's return to television after last year's hiatus due to Hollywood Foreign Press Association reforms.

Alongside A-lister women in the best actress category, the male nominees for the 2023 show included Austin Butler for his role in "Elvis," Brendan Fraser for "The Whale," Hugh Jackman for "The Son," Bill Nighy for "Living," and Jeremy Pope for his role in "The Inspection."
