We’ll announce the winners (and losers) every Monday.

BEST: Megan Fox

It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Fox, but absence makes the heart grow fonder! The “Transformers” star made her first red carpet appearance of 2019 at the 55th Annual Cinema Audio Society Awards in Los Angeles. Fox wore a floor length black gown with a structured shoulder and rocked the cut-out trend the right way, unlike some other stars…

WORST: Kim Kardashian West

Oh, Kim. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, the shining star of the Kardashian family outdoes herself by coining the term, “boob belt” with this black cut-out dress by Mugler. Is it on backwards? Is she being held together by garment tape and a prayer? Who knows. While Kim deserves an A+ for pushing the fashion envelope, I’m giving this look an F.

BEST: Yalitza Apraricio

While the “Roma” star has graced plenty of major red carpets this year, I think this floral printed dress by Jonathan Cohen is a fun, youthful look for the 25-year-old actress. The pop of colour on the heels by Gianvito Rossi and sleek locks were perfect for the Oscar nominee to let her hair down at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party.

WORST: Emily Blunt

There’s no denying that Blunt is a red carpet stand-out but unfortunately, this look is garnering attention for all the wrong reasons. The “Mary Poppins Returns” star wore a menswear inspired look by Dolce & Gabbana at the 2019 Writers Guild Awards in NYC that might have worked without the oversized bow tie that clashed with the brocade patterned blazer.

BEST: Halle Berry

Halle Berry knocked it out of the park at the 2016 Costume Designers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills. The “John Wick 3: Parabellum” actress shined in a strapless gold gown by Sebastian Gunawan and matching embellished shoes by Brian Atwood. Berry’s sun-kissed skin brought the entire look together, showcasing the Oscar-winners timeless beauty and red carpet prowess!

WORST: Eddie Redmayne

While I appreciate when our favourite male celebrities take risks with their clothes, I have to take 500 points from Hufflepuff for Eddie Redmayne’s latest look. The “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindewald” actor’s beetle patterned Alexander McQueen suit was a high-fashion risk that just didn’t translate off the runway. While the look was perfectly tailored, I need to exterminate this McQueen ASAP.

BEST: Tracee Ellis Ross

Ross’s silver ensemble deserves a gold medal. The “Blackish” star was a show-stopper a monochromatic look by Marc Jacobs at the designer’s show during New York Fashion Week. From her hair to the palazzo pants, the fashionista looks ready to put on some Diana Ross, kick off her shoes and dance the night away.

WORST: Dua Lipa

While I loved her look earlier this month at the Grammys, I can’t support bringing back the 80s in this Dynasty reject monstrosity. The “New Rules” singer arrived at the BRIT Awards in London sporting this black and pink gown by Christopher Kane that looked like a skirt was thrown on top of a bathing suit.

BEST: Zendaya

She’s only 22, but Zendaya is already well on her way to becoming a style icon. After being revealed as the latest brand ambassador for Lancome, “The Greatest Showman” actress wowed in a gorgeous red Alexis Mabille gown at the brand’s pre-Oscars party in Los Angeles. It’s age-appropriate glamour, timeless styling by celeb favourite Law Roach, and a look that will go down in the echelon of Zendaya’s greatest looks.

WORST: Allison Janney

It’s almost sacrilegious to speak ill of Allison Janney, but this look at a pre-Oscar party hosted by Cadillac is all wrong. While the actress’s bright red Galvan London jumpsuit showed off her amazing figure, it looked like something Fashion Nova sells for a night out at the club. If the look were in black, Janney might have been able to pull it off with the right styling, but this look registers too cheap to be worn by an Oscar winner.
