“VPR”: Ariana Demands Sandoval 'Stop Speaking to Me' but He's Partly Baffled as to Why They're Not 'Civil' (Exclusive)

In PEOPLE's exclusive sneak peek at Tuesday's 'Vanderpump Rules', Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix butt heads over the ownership of their pets — and shared home

A beach day is proving to be anything but paradise for exes Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive sneak peek at Tuesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, James Kennedy questions the former couple about who mediates for them when Sandoval’s assistant Ann Maddox isn’t at their shared home.

“I haven't had to cross that bridge yet,” Ariana, 38, says.

However, the conversation is far from over when James brings up who is responsible for their dog Mya without Ana being around, to which the Something About Her co-owner  responds: “Ann’s not Mya’s sitter.”

“Do you feel that she's safe?” James presses and Ariana responds, “I do, currently right now, yes.”

Tom Schwartz tries to put the issue to bed, saying, “You guys are both great dog and cat parents.”

But, Ariana clarifies: “Well, I'm a dog and cat parent. They’re mine. ... I paid the adoption fees, so I bought her.”

But, James, 32, won’t give up on the topic, asking Sandoval, “Are you gonna fight for her?"

“James, I don't know man,” the Schwartz & Sandy's co-owner, 41, replies before James’ girlfriend Ally Lewber reminded that she was financially responsible for the pets.

Sandoval once again brought up the accusation that his ex didn’t pay the bills, responding, “It was the one bill that Ariana paid.”

“Mya’s my dog,” Ariana insists in a confessional. “I paid for everything that has to do with her. [I’m] the only one that's taken her for a walk and the only one that’s ever given her a bath. Suck my d---.”

However, Sandoval sees her argument as a way to discuss their ongoing feud over the ownership of their home amid the fallout of Scandoval.

“According to your rules, Ariana, since you, like, applied for the adoption papers and paid for it and did all that stuff since my friend found the house and my people did the loan…,” he explains.

“Don’t speak to me. Don’t speak to me. Stop speaking to me. Stop speaking to me. Stop speaking to me, like, literally stop speaking to me,” she interrupts.

“You’re speaking to me,” he replies.

The clip concludes with Sandoval telling cameras that “anything I do or say is obviously a trigger for Ariana,” adding, “I had this delusional idea that we would be even more civil than Tom and Katie. Like that ain’t nothing. Watch how civil Ariana and I are gonna be. Yeah, delusional.”
