New Warner Robins spot preps for opening with free burgers to local teachers, first responders
A new independently owned and operated burger joint in Warner Robins offered free burgers to Houston County school teachers and first responders ahead of its grand opening Wednesday.
No Name Burger is a spin-off from the popular Fried Green Tomatoes restaurants across Middle Georgia and No Name Chicken joints in Warner Robins and Macon.
The new restaurant is next to the first No Name Chicken in Middle Georgia, in the Kroger shopping center off Ga. 96 in the Bonaire community of Warner Robins.
Teachers were invited to swing by for a free burger from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday and first responders from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, No Name Burger said on Facebook. Identification was required to claim a free burger.
Wednesday, the restaurant celebrates its grand opening at 11 a.m.
“Our ‘Burger Revolution’ is all about transforming the way you experience burgers,” Candice Miller, a managing partner in several of the restaurants, previously told The Telegraph. “We’re not just serving up the classic beef burgers.
“We’re offering a variety of unique, high-quality meats and creative combinations that will change your expectations of what a burger can be. It’s a delicious journey that redefines the classic burger one bite at a time,” she said.
No Name Burger offers “a variety of high-quality meats and creative combinations” and shares many of the popular No Name Chicken sauces.
Here are six of No Name Burger’s offerings:
Fire Bullgogi Burger — A beef patty with sauteed onion, jalapeno and yellow cheese. Add spicy bang, bang mayo and spicy beef sauce for heat.
Hot Cali Chic Burger — Donkatsu patty, lettuce, roma tomato, and red onion. Add No Name Chicken hot sauce and No Name Chicken Chicken cali chick sauce for heat.
No Name Shrimp Burger — Hand-pattied chop shrimp burger. For heat, add No Name spicy bang bang sauce.
Dirty Pig Burger —Donkatsu patty, hainslaw with kaynoaise. Add Japanese Donkatsue sauce and inspired BBQ sauce for heat.
Classic Deluxe Chicken Burger — Chicken patty, lettuce, roma tomato, red onion, pickle and mayor. For heat, add No Name Chicken dry rub lemon pepper.
Philly Burger— Beef patty, mozzarella cheese, sauteed sweet onion, sauteed mushrooms, sauteed bell pepper and mayo. Add No Name secret philly cheese seasoning for heat.
No Name Burger is in the former Potato Po-Ta-Toe location at 778 Ga. 96, Suite 135. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
