With July Fourth quickly approaching, the skies of the Triangle will be filled with fireworks nightly.

Most towns and cities are hosting celebrations throughout the week, which means residents of the Triangle could attend a fireworks show every night from Monday, July 1, through Saturday, July 6.

To ease your Fourth of July planning, we’ve compiled a chronological list of local professional fireworks displays, with information about dates, times, locations and more.

Monday, July 1

Fuquay-Varina’s Independence Day Celebration

The town of Fuquay-Varina will host a July Fourth Celebration on July 1 featuring fireworks, live music, food trucks and a splash pad.

Date & time: July 1. Gates open at 6 p.m. Live music begins at 6:30 p.m., and the fireworks will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Location: South Park; 900 South Main St., Fuquay-Varina.

Selma’s All-American Festival

The town of Selma will host its All American Festival on July 1. The festival will include games, food trucks, live music and fireworks.

Date & time: July 1. 6-9:30 p.m.

Tuesday, July 2

Wendell Fourth of July Fireworks

The town of Wendell will host a fireworks show on July 2. The event will also include food trucks and music.

Date & time: July 2. The event starts at 6 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.

Location: Wendell Community Park; 601 W. Third St., Wendell.

Cost: Free

Additional info: Limited parking will be available inside the park, but more parking will be available downtown. Free shuttles will run for the park and ride at 108 E. Fourth St. to Wendell Community Park from 6:30-10:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 3

Apex’s Fireworks Frenzy

The town of Apex’s fireworks show is on July 3. The event will offer food trucks, activities for families and a fireworks show. After 5 p.m., spectators can set up chairs to watch the fireworks along Ambergate Station at the Hunter Street Park soccer field and along Hunter Street.

Date & time: July 3. Food trucks and activities will be open from 5-9:15 pm. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.

Location: Hunter Street Park; 1250 Ambergate Station, Apex.

Garner Independence Day Celebration

Garner residents can enjoy a Fourth of July celebration on July 3 at Lake Benson Park with food vendors, a kids’ zone with inflatables and fireworks — as well as performances by the Bull City Syndicate and the N.C. Symphony.

Date & time: July 3. Gates open at 5 p.m. Food will be available for purchase at vendors from 5 until 9:30 p.m. The kids’ zone will be open from 5-8 p.m. Bull City Syndicate will perform from 5-7:45 p.m. and the N.C. Symphony will perform from 8:30-9:30 p.m. Fireworks will immediately follow the symphony, at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Location: Lake Benson Park; 921 Buffaloe Road, Garner.

Cost: Free

Additional info: Attendees can park at Lake Benson Park for free on a first-come, first-served basis. The town will provide a free shuttle service from South Garner High School to the festival. Shuttles will pause during the fireworks show and resume after it is concluded.

Morrisville’s Red, White & BOOM!

Residents of Morrisville can celebrate the Fourth of July with Red, White & BOOM on July 3, which will include live entertainment, food trucks, games and fireworks.

Date & time: July 3. 5-9 p.m.

Location: Cedar Fork District Park; 228 Aviation Pkwy, Morrisville.

Cost: Free. Tickets for the carnival games and inflatables are $1 each or $20 for 25 tickets.

Additional info: There will be no event parking on site. Event attendees should park at 808 and 909 Aviation Pkwy. Shuttles will run from both locations.

Wake Forest’s Fireworks Spectacular

The town of Wake Forest will host its 51st fireworks show on July 3. The event will feature performances by the Tyson Brothers and the Band of Oz before the fireworks show.

Date & time: July 3. The gates open at 5:30 p.m. The Tyson Brothers will perform at 6 p.m. and the Band of Oz at just after 7 p.m. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Location: Heritage High School; 1150 Forestville Road, Wake Forest.

Thursday, July 4

Knightdale’s Fourth on First Avenue

The town of Knightdale announced in May that this year’s July Fourth festivities would not include fireworks after an incident at last year’s celebration when a firework was set off in the crowd, causing panic.

Instead, this year’s Fourth on First Avenue event will include a bike parade beginning at the PSNC Energy Shelter, music, food trucks, inflatables, mini-golf, axe throwing and more.

Date & time: July 4. 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Location: Knightdale Station Park; 810 N. First Avenue, Knightdale.

Carrboro Fourth of July Celebration

While the town of Carrboro does not have a fireworks show, it will host a celebration on July 4 with a parade from Weaver Street to Carrboro’s town hall. The activities begin in the morning at Weaver Street Market, including a bike and wagon decorating contest for the parade and a costume contest for children. At Town Hall, attendees can enjoy live music, senior bingo, a pie-eating contest and other games and activities for kids. The 10th annual Community Reading of Frederick Douglass’ essay “The Meaning of July Fourth for the Negro” will take place at noon at the Carrboro Century Center.

Date & time: July 4. 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Cary’s Independence Day Celebration

The town of Cary’s July Fourth event will feature a fireworks display and performances by the N.C. Symphony.

Date & time: July 4. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. and the fireworks begin at 9:25 p.m.

Location: Koka Booth Amphitheatre.

Cost: Free. Community members can purchase a table with parking, but there are a limited number of reserved tables.

Clayton’s Square-to-Square Independence Day Street Festival and Fireworks

The town of Clayton is hosting a fireworks show on July 4 in addition to the Square-to-Square Street Festival. The festival will feature several free activities for the family downtown, including a bike parade, a fire truck spray down, games and inflatables. Free slices of watermelon and snow cones will be available for community members, as well as several food trucks.

Clayton residents can watch July Fourth fireworks launched from Clayton High School from viewing locations throughout the town, including Hocutt Baptist Church and Main Street.

Date & time: July 4. Square-to-Square Street Festival begins at 5:30 p.m. and will last until 9 p.m. Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.

Durham Fourth of July Fireworks

The city of Durham’s fireworks show will occur at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park following the evening’s game between the Norfolk Tides and the Bulls. Individuals who want to watch the fireworks from inside the ballpark can enter at the end of the 7th inning based on availability. Purchasing a ticket to the game is the best way to guarantee a spot.

Date & time: July 4. Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. The baseball game begins at 6:35 p.m.

Location: Durham Bulls Athletic Park; 409 Blackwell St., Durham. Outside the ballpark, viewing sites including the grassy area behind Diamond View 3, outside of the North Deck and Burt’s Bees, Tobacco Road Sports Cafe and Ponysaurus Brewing.

Cost: General admission to view the fireworks after the 7th inning is free. Seat tickets to the Durham Bulls game before the fireworks range from $25-$36, plus fees.

Raleigh Fourth of July Fireworks at Dix Park

The city of Raleigh’s July Fourth fireworks show will take place at Dix Park on July 4, featuring 40 food trucks, water slides, a foam party pit, music and dance.

Date & time: July 4. Parking opens at 5:30 p.m. From 6-9 p.m., families and friends can enjoy food trucks, music and activities. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.

Location: Dix Park, 1030 Richardson Dr., Raleigh.

Additional info: Free event parking is available at the Moore Square and Red Hat/City Center parking decks. Free shuttles will transport people from Moore Square Park to Dix Park. Free parking without shuttle service is also available on N.C. State’s Centennial Campus at the Partners Way Deck and the Oval West Deck.

Raleigh’s Brier Creek Star-Spangled Block Party and Fireworks

Brier Creek Commons will host its Star-Spangled Block Party on July 4 with face painting, giveaways, dancing, music and “one of the largest fireworks shows in the area” choreographed to a soundtrack on KIX 102.9.

Chapel Hill Fourth of July Fireworks

The town of Chapel Hill will host its annual Fourth of July fireworks show at Southern Community Park in Chapel Hill on July 4.

Date & time: July 4. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.

Location: Southern Community Park; 1000 Sumac Road, Chapel Hill.

Cost: Free

Additional info: Free shuttles will transport attendees to and from the Jackson Parking Deck at UNC Hospitals to Southern Village Park & Ride. Shuttles will run from 6-8:45 p.m. Limited parking is available at Southern Community Park and the Southern Community Park & Ride Lot, so the town encourages attendees to park at the Jackson Deck.

Rolesville’s July Fourth Celebration

Date & time: July 4. Food trucks, inflatables yard games and local vendors will be available for attendees from 5-9 p.m. A live performance by The Ray Band will begin at 6 p.m. Fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m.

Location: Redford Place Park; 121 Redford Place Dr., Rolesville. Other viewing areas include Field A and Marvin Perry Field.

Mudcats for America Fireworks Show in Zebulon

After the Carolina Mudcats’ games on July 4, 5 and 6, attendees can enjoy the annual Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza.

Holly Springs’ July Fourth festivities allow attendees to “enjoy a second day for the USA.” The July 5 event will feature live music, games, food trucks and fireworks.

Archer Lodge Family Fun Day Fireworks

In Clayton, the Archer Lodge Community Center will have a Family Fun Day on July 6 that will include fireworks, a parade, food trucks, family games and more. Weather permitting, the event will even feature skydivers.

Date & time: July 6. Events begin at 5:15 p.m. with skydivers. A community bike ride will take place at 5:30 p.m. Food trucks, concessions, family activities and live entertainment will be available to attendees from 6-9 p.m. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.

Location: Archer Lodge Community Center; 14009 Buffalo Rd., Clayton.
