Watch Beyoncé Introduce Simone Biles And Team USA At Paris Olympics
On Friday, the Paris 2024 Olympics commenced and Team USA had none other than Beyoncé introduce them. She appeared in a YouTube video with NBC Sports set to her song 'Ya Ya' which name-checked some of her favourite athletes.
'Get a look at America, y’all,' Beyoncé said in the pre-recorded video. 'These hopes and dreams, these superstars that represent us, the people of this big, bold, beautiful, complicated nation, all rooting together for them.'

Amongst the specific athletes Beyoncé went on to mention were Team USA competitors Noah Lyles, Sha’Carri Richardson, Caeleb Dressel, Katie Ledecky, and Simone Biles.

For the clip, the Cowboy Carter singer wore a rhinestone covered bodysuit from A-Morir with the U.S. lettering across the front. On her head was a cowboy hat in an American flag pattern and she even wore a manicure in red, white, and blue.
'That pride and that joy, that’s what gets me about this team and that’s what makes me believe in this team. And that’s why I can’t wait to see what they pull over these next 16 days,' Beyoncé finished. 'America, give it up for Team USA. The very best of who we are. What a vision to behold. What a team to believe in. What a night to celebrate.'
That night, Lady Gaga and Céline Dion also ushered in the Games with performances, making it a very special night for both international sports and iconic musical acts.
