Watch Chris Hemsworth Stage a Prison Break in New 'Extraction 2' Teaser

Netflix's Extraction 2 is back with another teaser trailer ahead of its release early this summer. For the film, Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as Tyler Rake, a mercenary who's been tasked with rescuing a notorious Georgian gangster from prison.

In the 2-minute clip, we see chaos unfold in the prison yard as Rake once again teeters on the brink of defeat as he's knocked out from behind by a brick. After seeing flashbacks to 9 months ago when he was pronounced clinically dead, he gathers himself and proceeds to wreak mayhem.

Extraction 2 is the sequel to the first film based on the Cuidad graphic novel by Ande Parks. The film is produced by the Russo Brothers, Mike Larocca, Chris Hemsworth, Patrick Newall and Sam Hargrave. Angela Russo-Otstot, Jake Aust, Benjamin Grayson, Steven Scavelli, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely serve as executive producers.

Below is an official synopsis:

After barely surviving the events of the first movie, Rake is back as the Australian black ops mercenary, tasked with another deadly mission: rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held. Hemsworth reunites with director Sam Hargrave, with Joe and Anthony Russo's AGBO producing and Joe Russo writing. Golshifteh Farahani reprises her role from the first film, with Daniel Bernhardt and Tinatin Dalakishvili also co-starring.

Look for Extraction 2 to release June 16, exclusively on Netflix.
