How to Watch the Emmy Awards
Things will be a little different for the Emmys this year—namely, there will be two Emmy Awards in 2024. Since the Emmys, which were originally scheduled for last September, were delayed by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes that shut down many Hollywood productions last year, the awards will actually be given out live on Monday, January 15, 2024.
Yes, the 2023 Emmys are airing in 2024, and yes, it makes things a little confusing. While many of the nominees, like Succession, The Crown, and The White Lotus, were also nominated for the Golden Globes just last week, there are also a few shows and films that debuted late in 2023—shows had to air between June 1, 2022 and May 31, 2023 to be eligible—that made the Golden Globes cut but weren't available in time for the upcoming round of Emmys. That means a series like Fellow Travelers, which received two Golden Globes nods, was not eligible for this round of voting, while The Bear's critically acclaimed first season is nominated, but not its more recently aired second season—both may appear in the 2024 Emmys later this year.

How to watch the Emmys
The 75th annual Emmys will air on Monday, January 15, with coverage starting at 8 p.m. eastern time on Fox. For those who prefer to stream, the ceremony will also be available live on services that carry Fox, including Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and Sling. The show will also be available on-demand on Hulu the following day, January 16.
Who's hosting?
Comedian Anthony Anderson is scheduled to host the January ceremony, taking over from Kenan Thompson, who served as emcee for the awards in 2022.
