Watch: Idaho couple claim world record for hanging up clothes

Nov. 19 (UPI) -- An Idaho couple put their laundry skills to the test and broke a Guinness World Record by hanging up 10 items of clothing in 51.8 seconds.

David and Jennifer Rush took on the Guinness World Records title for the fastest time to hang up 10 items of clothing (team of two), with the record to beat standing at 57.87 seconds.

David Rush said it took "several practice attempts" as well as a few "failed official attempts" before they were able to "shave off a chunk of time" and earn the record at 51.8 seconds.

"We hugged, we kissed, and then we collapsed from exhaustion. It's a great feeling to break another world record, and to do it with my wife by my side made it even more special," he said.

Rush holds the most concurrent Guinness World Records titles in the world, with more than 182 records to his name.
