We returned from playoff 1 of the SuperMotocross World Championship at zMAX Dragway in North Carolina this past Saturday. We witnessed the return of last year's defending 450SMX champion, Jett Lawrence, returning from injury and ready to line up at the gate. It was Eli Tomac who went Beast Mode in Moto 1 with a comfortable lead, taking the win. Jett came back swinging, but Eli didn't give it up quickly in Moto 2. Jett Lawrence won in Moto 2 and overall, in Playoff 1 of the SMX Championship.
