  • Fans had mixed reactions to Katy dancing on the program.

American Idol judge Katy Perry embraced her (not-so inner) wild side on last night's audition episode. And her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, had the world's most priceless reaction to it all.

Particularly, the "California Gurls" singer brought the party to the competition show when she busted out some serious dance moves during contestant Jake Puliti's audition.

When the 20-year-old Idol hopeful began performing an acoustic version of Montell Jordan's "This Is How We Do It," Katy just couldn't help but get up from her seat and start grooving to the beat. Then, out of nowhere, she started whipping out "The Worm" dance. Both her fellow judges, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, found the whole thing to be absolutely hysterical.

But Luke and Lionel's response to Katy's dance moves was a far cry from Orlando's. As Katy's Instagram story reveals, Orlando simply grinned and quietly watched his wife-to-be do her thing on the show.

While filming her future husband, Katy kept asking the Pirates of the Caribbean star if he was "sure," - meaning, was Orlando "sure" that he wanted to marry Katy given her insane dance moves. In response, Orlando jokingly shook his head ...

But just look at that smile - that is the smile of a man who is not only "sure," but totally loves and embraces Katy's bubbly personality.

For the most part, fans watching at home were totally on board with Katy dancing. There were, however, some who dubbed the singer's behavior as "unprofessional."

"I feel like this is so distracting and disrespectful to the contestants. This year’s judges all seem to need attention with every performance," one viewer wrote. "Please give back some dignity to the show," another remarked.

Regardless of where you stand on the Idol judge's moves last night, there's no denying that the episode was extremely entertaining and that Katy is working hard for those ratings. So hard, in fact, that she even tweeted out that her back felt sore for a full week after Jack's audition. That's called dedication to show biz right there.
