Blush Blonde: Rose gold and pinkish violet are the hottest colours for blondes right now.

Blake Lively is one of the latest celebrities to try a marigold shade on her blonde locks. Blake has added ivory highlights around her face to keep the look bright and fresh. She has coupled her ivory locks with lowlights to keep the depth in her hair colour. Katy Perry, Sienna Miller and Cara Delevingne have all been seen with rose gold hair. For celebrities who prefer pinkish tones, look to Kelly Ripa. Kelly has experimented with pastel tones on her light blonde hair and it looked great on her! Kelly is striving for a chic, fashion forward look.

Bronde: Espresso and violet undertones are the latest looks for bronde hair. Taylor Swift’s dark blonde, is slowly changing to a dark ash blonde base with subtle highlights through the ends and around the crown of the head. Celebrities like Kylie Jenner to Rihanna to Nicole Richie are looking to add more depth to their natural colour by enhancing it with different hues. Penelope Cruz was recently seen at New York Fashion Week with the hair colour that everyone wants. Subtle highlights to achieve a perfect bronde look.

Red: Copper tone is the current look for gingers. Emma Stone is one of the most well-known celebrities with copper toned locks. More subtle auburns and intense coppers look amazing with a warmer toned skin colour. Eva Mendes and Rihanna have warmer toned skin colours and can wear a bright copper like no other. Before you go ahead and colour – Have a conversation with your stylist about the health of your hair. When you decide to move on from this look – how will you change the colour? Will you need to be prepared to grow out the hair until you can change the colour again? Maybe you will want to change your style and cut your hair, to make the move from this hot look? It is always a good idea to speak with your stylist about what will happen with your hair after this look.

How to keep your hair colour looking fresh: Watch the temperature of the water you wash your hair with. Try a cooler water temperature. Read the label of your shampoos and make sure they are sulfate free. Try to avoid washing your hair too much! Washing only two times a week will keep the colour longer and improve the condition of your hair. Every time you wash your hair, your hair can be prone to damage. Having fewer washes will help to keep your hair strong and health.! Be aware of heat styling tools – they are hotter now than they were 10 years ago. Protect your hair with a leave in hair protectant and try to use your heat styling tools sparingly.
