Watermelon Pizza Is Our (Unexpected) Favorite Summer App

At first glance, the idea of combining watermelon with savory ingredients might seem unconventional. But as you take your first bite, you'll quickly discover the magic of this unusual combination. Picture this: juicy watermelon slices serving as the base for fragrant herbs, tangy red onion, crisp cucumbers, and creamy feta. The sweetness of the watermelon provides a refreshing base that perfectly complements the savory toppings, creating a harmonious balance of flavors that dance across your palate. So, gather your favorite ingredients, embrace the unexpected, and prepare to savor every unforgettable bite of this delightful summer appetizer.

Be sure to use a seedless watermelon here—nobody wants to bite into their pizza and have to spit out a seed! One of our favorite things about this no-cook app? This savory watermelon pizza is just as refreshing as it is versatile. Try swapping out the mint for another soft herb like basil if that's more your speed. Tip: Soaking the onion in hot water helps to mute that biting allium harshness.
