Wendy’s Is Giving Out Free French Fries Every Friday for the Rest of the Year

The deal starts Friday, April 19, and means that customers have 37 opportunities to score free fries

TGIF now means Thank God It’s Fry-Day at Wendy’s.

Starting on April 19 and continuing through the rest of the year, fans can score any size of French fries for free with any purchase.

Customers will have 37 free fry opportunities starting on April 19. They will be able to find the offer in the Wendy’s app every Friday. There is no purchase price minimum and the promo can be used in a mobile order or in-store if you load the offer onto your card before paying.

Last month, the fast food chain jumped into the spring spirit with a new Frosty flavor: orange dreamsicle.

The new treat was introduced on March 19 and combines the classic orange creamsicle pop flavors and the richness of a Frosty, per a release. It does so by mixing Wendy’s vanilla Frosty with orange cream.

As with all of Wendy’s limited-time Frosty flavors, the orange dreamsicle will join the chocolate Frosty on the menu and temporarily replace the vanilla Frosty.

Fans have previously seen (and sipped on) vanilla replacements like the peppermint Frosty, which was brought back in November, and the pumpkin spice Frosty from September. Last year, Wendy’s introduced the strawberry Frosty for the end of the summer, but the brand’s warm-weather plans have not been announced for 2024.

Starbucks is also rolling out new flavors to celebrate spring. But, at the coffee chain, the limited-time items are heating up even more than the weather.

Spicy Lemonade Refreshers and spicy cream cold foam became available at Starbucks on Tuesday, April 16 and each option gets its heat from a spicy chili powder blend.

There are three flavors of the Spicy Lemonade Refreshers — dragon fruit, pineapple and strawberry — and the spicy cream cold foam can be added to any drink. So fans with all tastes can try the heat.

Starbucks has a buy-one-get-one-free promo on Thursday, April 18, in honor of the newest menu additions. Rewards members can score any beverage and get another one free from noon until 6 p.m. Customers can find the promo in the Starbucks app when ordering online or by asking a barista to apply it during an in-store checkout.
