On Friday, the highly-anticipated season 2 of Bridgerton was released on Netflix. As expected, the period drama quickly secured the number 1 spot in popularity across the board, and it doesn't seem to be moving anytime soon.
The finale wrapped up the messy yet addicting storyline of Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) and Anthony Bridgerton (Johnathan Bailey) swiftly, leaving the door open for all the unanswered questions to be addressed in season 3.
In the first episode of the season, a memorial was also left for Emmy winner Marc Pilcher, who worked as a makeup artist and hairstylist for season 1. But if you were one of the many fans who managed to watch all eight episodes over the weekend, you may have noticed a small but important detail before the credits rolled during the finale.
Following the closing scene, the words “In Memory of Carole Prentice” appeared, leaving viewers with questions about the special dedication. Here's everything there is to know about the Bridgerton alum.
