Woman kicked off flight after refusing to sit next to a baby
Passengers on a Delta flight were recently provided with live in-flight entertainment when a woman had a full-blown temper tantrum when she discovered she was seated next to an eight-month-old baby.
Marissa Rundell was travelling with son Mason to Syracuse, N.Y. from John F. Kennedy International Airport when an unidentified woman boarded the plane screaming and shouting.
“She was the last one to get on the plane and I was in the second to last row of the plane,” Rundell said in an interview with the Daily Mail, “ She came to the back and slammed her bags down. She said, ‘This is f-cking ridiculous. It’s bullshit having to sit in the back of the plane.”
Things escalated quickly when Rundell asked the woman to not swear in front of her son.

“I said please watch your language and she told me to shut the f-ck up. That’s when the flight attendant came over and asked what the problem was.”
The enraged passenger demanded that Delta flight attendant, Tabitha, find her another seat on the flight so she wouldn’t have to sit next to “a crying baby” for the flight, which is approximately an hour and a half long. When Tabitha informed the woman a seat change was not possible, she offered the woman a seat on the next available flight.

In footage from Rundell’s cellphone, the passenger cries, “I can’t” and then slams her bag onto her seat. The unknown woman asks for the flight attendant’s name and angrily replies, “Thank you Tabitha, you may not have a job tomorrow.”
Only when the flight attendant demand that the woman be removed from the plane does she illicit a half-hearted apology saying she was “stressed out” and had taken the matter too far and tried to negotiate with the gate agent to let her stay on the flight.
“Ten minutes later she came back and got her things and was again swearing up a storm saying they will all regret kicking her off the plane,” said Rundell.
Rundell posted footage from the incident to Facebook with the caption, “Thank you to the lovely Delta flight attendant for not letting this women [sic] bully us. Karma is a b-tch.” The video has been viewed more than 14,000 times and has received a flood of comments praising the flight attendant for her composure when it came to dealing with the difficult passenger.
Delta could not be reached for comment and there’s no word whether or not passengers received extra pretzels or cookies for the inconvenience.
