When you’re pregnant and start to go into contractions, chances are that fitting in one last exercise session — let alone squeezing in some pole dancing — is the last thing on your mind. But British mom-to-be Kat Bailey isn’t your everyday pregnant person. Bailey, founder of PoleKat Fitness Aerial Arts Academy in Nottingham, U.K., didn’t let contractions stop her from doing one last power move on the pole before heading to the hospital to give birth.

She captured her athletic feat in a video, which she posted on her Facebook page on July 31. Bailey captioned it: “Got a few hours before we go to the hospital so thought I’d do some pole between contractions.” In the video, Bailey, who has been “poling” for six years, grabs the pole with both hands and then proceeds to lift her entire body in the air — labor pains be damned — in an impressive “Iron X” move. Needless to say, the video has quickly gone viral and has been viewed more than 48,000 times.

Several people commented on the video, with some awestruck viewers saying what most of us are probably thinking. “Jesus between contractions I was screaming,” commented Zoey Gritto. “Not a chance on earth I’d have been doing this.” Many were wowed by the impressive physical feat, calling Bailey “phenomenal” and “incredible.” As commenter Valerie Burke put it: “Amazing!!! What an absolute legend you are.” We have to agree.
