Woman shows that no two pairs of pants fit the same (even at the same store)

Body positivity activist Milly Smith (a.k.a. selfloveclubb) has taken to Instagram to prove that clothing sizing doesn’t truly matter. To prove it, Smith tried on two different pairs of pants of the same size from the same store — but only one fit perfectly.

“One I can’t get passed my thighs despite A LOT of sweating and pulling,” the 23-year-old captioned next to the photo of her struggling into the pants. “Clothes sizing doesn’t define your worth. Clothes sizing doesn’t even define your damn size!”

Clothing sizing doesn't mean SHIT! 〰 Both of these bottoms are the SAME SIZE FROM THE SAME STORE! One fits perfect. One I can't get passed my thighs despite ALOT of sweating and pulling. 〰 Clothes sizing doesn't fine your worth. “We’re NOT clothes hangers, we can’t fit clothes that are made to a certain shape that we are NOT!” the blogger concludes. “Remember this next time you go clothes shopping!”

Smith received a lot of support from her more than 125,000 followers as they shared their own clothing disasters:

“Totally. Yesterday I tried on 3 T-shirts, all the same size. Only one fit lol. Plus I can wear XS-L on the same day, depending on actually, I have no idea!”

“This is so relevant. I’m anywhere from an XL to a 3X at Forever 21. THE SAME STORE. And for whatever reason I feel ashamed AF when I have to put the 1X back, and then the 2X, and go for the 3X. Logically, I know my body didn’t change drastically since my last visit, but I still feel unworthy.”

“Every time I go to the store I afraid that a skinny girl will check out my clothes and judge me on what size I am witch leads too all my clothes being slightly too small.Thanks for reminding me it doesn’t matter!”

Smith is a huge proponent of self-love and continuously inspires women to stop comparing their bodies to what they see on social media.

Every time I log into Instagram I see some variation of fitness model posing with a booty pop. 〰 The expectations of women's butts or what's seen as attractive has been basically narrowed down to tiny waist, big, round butt with no cellulite. (I mean, fuck what's 'seen as attractive' anyways but the pressure is real and affecting many) We see it everywhere 'squat for the perfect booty' 'she squats bro' URGH. 〰 The thing is… all butts are beautiful. Big Small Flat Round Cellulite Smaller than hips Bigger than hips Etc etc etc etc. Literally no exceptions. 〰 Our butts look different in different clothing, poses and underwear and that's cool. 〰 Just remember, poses and filters make bodies look entirely different and cellulite is cute and normal. Don't compare yourself to anyone.
