Would you spend $65 on ‘skin rejuvenating’ gloves?

There are pretty of outrageous beauty products out there – we’re looking at you, snail creams and vampire facials. The latest one involves a pair of jloves that will “anti-age” your hands.

Iluminage is a luxury beauty brand that was founded in 2011 by Unilever. Its goal is to develop “new intelligence in beauty solutions” by creating “ground breaking devices, advanced treatments and intelligent textiles designed for at-home performance.”

The skin rejuvenating gloves are part of a line that includes socks, an eye mask and pillow case all made with the same high-tech copper infused fabric.

“These luxurious gloves are clinically proven to reduce the appearance of hand wrinkles and age spots [and] improve skin tone and texture, changing the look of your hands in just four weeks.”

The gloves are fingerless and made in a flesh colour that makes them less noticeable – for certain skin tones. For best results, the company suggests wearing them during the day and night.

Gloves currently retail at Sephora for $65.
