10. Camilla, Queen Consort
It has been a big year for Camilla. Throughout 2022, the 75-year-old took part in her first-ever shoot for British "Vogue," launched her Birthday Books Project and helped guest-edit an issue of "Country Life."
But one of the biggest moments Camilla experienced in 2022 was when Queen Elizabeth II used her Platinum Jubilee speech in February to share that it was her "sincere wish" for Camilla to be known as "Queen Consort" when Charles took the throne. Back when the couple wed in 2005, Buckingham Palace noted that she were to be known as "Princess Consort" instead. (Photo by Karwai Tang/WireImage)

9: Princess Diana
Lady Di has always been a well-known figure in the royal family, particularly following her tragic death in August 1997. But in 2022, the "People's Princess" came under a brighter spotlight with the release of an original HBO documentary, titled "The Princess," in June. The November release of season five of Netflix's "The Crown," which centres around Charles and Diana, played by 32-year-old Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki, between 1991 and 1997 — as well as news of the hit series ending with season six — also put the international icon back in the limelight. 8: Princess Anne
Even though Anne, Princess Royal is Queen Elizabeth II's second-born child, being the only daughter pushed her down the line of succession to the British throne. That's because she was born during an old law that allowed men to skip over women in the line, which was eventually changed in 2013. Currently, the 72-year-old is 16th in line to the throne. 7: Prince Andrew
The Duke of York lost his military titles and royal patronages in January after a U.S. judge ruled his trial for sex offences could go ahead. Queen Elizabeth II, his mother, told the 62-year-old in a "face-to-face" meeting at the beginning of 2022 that he'd be stripped of his titles.
"With the Queen's approval and agreement, the Duke of York's military affiliations and royal patronages have been returned to the Queen," Buckingham Palace said in a statement at the time. "The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a private citizen." (Photo by Richard Pohle - WPA Pool/Getty Images)

6: King Charles III
For his entire life, Charles had been next-in-line for the throne. His mother, Queen Elizabeth II eventually surpassed 70 years as the United Kingdom's monarch, until her death in September, which ended Charles's reign as Britain's longest ever king-in-waiting. After a lifetime of being an heir, Charles became King at 73-years-old following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on Sept. 8. (Photo by Max Mumby/Indigo/Getty Images)

5: Prince William
The Prince of Wales made major headlines earlier this March after a week-long Caribbean tour with his wife, Kate Middleton, where the couple faced criticism in Belize, The Bahamas and Jamaica during a visit for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Later in 2022, the public's interest in the 40-year-old grew after he moved his family away from London and reunited with his brother, Harry, during Queen Elizabeth's death, (Photo by Samir Hussein/WireImage)

3: Kate Middleton
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has been in the public eye since 2010, and was propelled into the limelight after getting married to Prince William in April 2011. But 2022 has also been a busy year for Kate Middleton: The 40-year-old toured the Caribbean for a week in March, stepped out for her first-ever joint engagement with Princess Anne in April and was upstaged by her animated children — particularly Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte — in public this past summer. 2: Prince Harry
The Duke of Sussex has been in the main royal spotlight for the past few years after he stepped back from his duties with his wife, Meghan Markle, in 2020 — and it's been a rocky relationship ever since. In 2022, the 38-year-old made headlines with his upcoming tell-all memoir, "Spare," and drew eyes after wearing his military uniform for the first time in two years at the Queen's vigil, as well as with the recently-released Netflix documentary, "Harry & Meghan." 1: Meghan Markle
After lighting a flame last year in her candid interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duchess of Sussex has — clearly — not been able to leave the spotlight. Throughout 2022, the 41-year-old shared new photos of her daughter, Lilibet, on her 1st birthday in June and launched her Spotify podcast, "Archetypes," earlier this fall. But the American-born royal also drew whispers in April after reuniting with the Queen and Charles after two years, and opening up about life in a candid profile for "The Cut." The past year has been tumultuous for the royal family.
There were several moments of highs for the famous Brits, from Queen Elizabeth II becoming the world's second-longest reigning monarch and celebrating her Platinum Jubilee, to newly-released photos of royals like Princess Charlotte and Princess Lilibet.
But 2022 has also seen many lows for the royals, with the Queen's death at 96-years-old and Jamaica moving to remove her as its head of state, to Prince Andrew being stripped of his titles and more heat surrounding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Amid a year full of momentous events for Britain's royals, here are the top 10 people in the family who were most-searched throughout 2022.
