Yes, There Really Is a Girl Scouts Frosty Coming to Wendy's — Here's What You Need to Know

It's official: Wendy's is indeed dropping an all-new Frosty with a cookie twist.

On Monday, Wendy's confirmed that it's releasing a new Frosty in partnership with Girl Scouts of the USA. Specifically, it's a limited-edition Thin Mints Frosty, available at restaurants nationwide starting Friday, February 21.

According to Wendy's, its newest Frosty combines the "flavor of two iconic fan favorites — Girl Scout Thin Mints and our beloved Frosty dessert — for a delectable, minty treat." And, as it noted, "everyone knows Thin Mints are extra delicious when frozen," which, honestly, is impossible to argue with as it's a verifiable fact. Best of all, fans can enjoy the new Thin Mints swirl in either a Wendy’s Classic Chocolate or Vanilla Frosty.

And while it's exciting to have the news confirmed, Food & Wine actually reported on this new Frosty a few weeks ago after the Instagram account Snackolator released a tip that the dessert was coming.

"I'm crying tears of Thin Mints joy right now because Wendy's is bringing one of the best looking Frosty flavors ever in February," the account shared in the caption. Fans were quick to jump into the comments to express their excitement too, with one writing, "OMGGGGG finally, America gets something good," and another exclaiming, "Can’t wait for this!!!!" One more follower added, they'll be "Grabbing the largest available."

And while, again, we're stoked, we're also excited about the fact that it's Girl Scouts cookie season in general. On January 7, Girl Scouts of the USA announced the return of the cookie season, ushering in both joy and a little sorrow for certain cookie fans. That's because it announced it's retiring two beloved flavors at the end of this cookie season: the Girl Scout S’mores and Toast-Yay! flavors.

"We routinely reevaluate our cookie lineup to make room for new innovations," a GSUSA spokesperson shared. "Discontinuing Toast-Yay! and Girl Scout S’mores may lead to something new and delicious."

Don't worry too much. There are still plenty of other flavors to choose from, including Thin Mints along with Samoas, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, Tagalongs, and more. And now, you can buy a box and dip it in your Frosty for an added touch.
