Avocado lovers rejoice! You can now grow your own avocado tree. Which is pretty darned fantastic news because avocados are in short supply ATM due to everyone jumping on the healthy eating bandwagon. The not so good news? It could take anywhere from five to 13 years before the tree is mature enough to grow an actual avocado. Oh!
But still. Let’s focus on the positives shall we? The genius little contraption comes in the form of an avocado-shaped bowl with a little hole in it. All you have to do, is put a peeled avocado seed into the hole, place it in a large, water-filled pot and wait for it to grow. Within one to three months a tiny little avocado tree should have grown. Bless.

And for those who can’t seem to hold onto even the hardiest of house plants, the good news is you’ll only need to change the water every two to three weeks. Even better, the bowl is re-useable, so you can transfer the budding tree into a pot and go again. Heck you might even become a sort of avocado farmer. Or, maybe not.
