Zendaya Is Giving Space Spice in Latest Avant-Garde Dune 2 Look

If you, like me, only know Dune through memes, you know that these buzzwords are somehow central to the plot: big worm, spice, Paul, Arrakis.

Zendaya chose to represent spice for her latest Dune: Part Two press tour outfit, and maybe also space and sand, which I’m pretty sure are also part of it. Dune…like a sand dune, right? That’s the only kind of dune I know of, personally.

Anyway, Zendaya has been turning out excellent high fashion ensembles throughout the promotional period, and she looks sexy and stylish in custom Louis Vuitton and vintage Bulgari jewelry, per @checkthetag.

Much like the Dune movies, her outfit comes in two parts: a voluminous drop-waist skirt and a crop top with a cowl neck. The material is metallic, ruched into rosettes, giving a little ’80s glam while looking totally unlike what we’ve seen on the red carpet before.

Zendaya’s hair is slicked back with a few face-framing tendrils, and she wears gold eye shadow enhanced by trippy lashes.

The look also coordinates well with the metallic shirt her costar Timothée Chalamet wore under his suit jacket.

If this were literally any other event, I would call the bracelet on her left wrist a snake, but since this is the Paris premiere of Dune: Part Two, I’m going with worm!

Pretty light pink nails remind us that Zendaya is young and give the look an air of sweetness and exploration, rather than drama. Well done, Law Roach!

At an earlier photo call, Zendaya delivered another stunning, sculptural kinda-gown, wearing a white Alaïa FW24 RTW straight off the runway with zero jewelry because her face is the jewelry. It’s a skirt that wraps around her ribcage and chest in a bright white.
