Zendaya Takes Paris in 2024's Hottest Color

We’re no longer doing head-to-toe Barbie pink, nor are we adding a pop of red to all our wintry outfits. It’s 2024, and maroon is the new It color, for fashion deity Zendaya hath declared it so.

The 27-year-old stepped out in Paris on January 25 to attend Fendi’s couture show wearing a rib-knit maroon halter dress, which she styled with an ombré lip—also in maroon—as well as her new microbangs. The vibe is “Leonard Nimoy at the Star Trek ball,” and I mean that in the best possible way.

Pointed-toe Louboutins and a diamond choker necklace that's likely worth more than I am completed the look, which was styled by image architect Law Roach (who also sat front row at the Fendi show).

Elsewhere in the celebrity style-verse, Dua Lipa wore head-to-toe maroon, and I do mean head to toe in the literal sense: Lipa has been wearing her hair in the purpley pink shade for weeks now, like the harbinger of fashion trends she is.

Also wearing the couleur du jour at the Fendi show was Korean actor Song Hye Kyo, who opted for a less dramatic take than her sisters in fashion, Dua and Daya. The K-drama star paired opaque maroon tights with matching stiletto platform heels, which provided a trendy contrast to her timeless gray and green skirt suit.

But please, one more time for Zendaya:
