We promise you won’t cry if you accidentally break one.

As we inch closer to the end-of-year holidays, Aldi has been an affordable source of countless kitchenware and decor to make things at home feel merry and bright. In past weeks, its infamous Aldi Finds aisle has shown off a $7 copycat of a $90 Williams Sonoma holiday platter, holiday-themed pajamas, and super chic ribbed cocktail glasses.

I don't need new cocktail glasses right now, but there is something else in the Aldi Finds aisle that I'm eyeing. If you're, like me, taking stock of the wine glasses in your kitchen to prepare for holiday gatherings and you're noticing you could use some new glasses, then look no further, because Aldi has our back.

Aldi's Crofton Wine Glasses

I’m a certified wine professional, and I have a lot (that’s an understatement) of glassware at home. Since wine glasses break so easily, my current collection is unfortunately a mismatched hodge-podge of various sizes and shapes. But thanks to Aldi Finds, it looks like I've found a solution to this. Beginning on Dec. 11, its Crofton Wine Glasses will be available in sets of four for $9.99.

The Aldi glasses are very classic in construction: They are clear crystal stemmed glasses with a thin lip. In fact, they look very similar to Williams Sonoma's Estate Cabernet Glasses which cost $179.96 for 8 stems (that’s wine pro lingo for a stemmed wine glass)—or about $22.50 per glass. Given that they are hand-blown, that’s an understandable price. The Crofton glasses, which are also crystal but not hand-blown, are about $2.50 a glass, making them a super affordable option if you don't mind whether it's hand-blown.

Both the Williams Sonoma and Aldi wine glasses can go in the dishwasher, but when I put my more expensive glasses in the dishwasher, I always hold my breath to see if they come out unscathed. Thanks to the low price tag, I won’t worry about the Aldi glasses. Plus, if a glass breaks, I won't cry about it either. I won’t be happy about it, but I won’t cry over losing $2.50. I have cried over losing a $60 stem, more than once.

Another bonus is that Aldi's glasses come in sizes that are suitable for both red wine and white wine, so if you like having separate glasses for different wines, then this is a fantastic budget-friendly way to build your wine glass collection.

With the big holidays coming up, Aldi's wine glasses will likely sell out quickly. Since they're only available for one week or until they sell out, I plan on getting there early on Dec. 11 to make sure I can snag a set—maybe I’ll see you there.
