11 events to check out around Myrtle Beach, SC if you’re in town for the Fall Bike Rally
Thousands of bikers and motorcycle fans will soon descend on the Grand Strand for rides, live music, parties, vendors and more at the 2024 Fall Myrtle Beach Bike Rally. Between scenic rides and meet ups at biker favorites like Beaver Bar and Suck Bang Blow, there will be lots to do in the Myrtle Beach area outside the Fall Rally.
If you’re in town to celebrate bike culture and want to make the most of your time in the Grand Strand, check out these events scheduled during the Fall Rally.
Atalaya Arts and Crafts Festival
Sept. 27-29
If riding through the Carolina country has you craving more time in nature or shopping local vendors gets you interested in local artisans, check out the 49th annual Atalaya Arts and Crafts Festival at Huntington Beach State Park. The festival will feature art from more than 100 artisans, local food and live music, all in one of South Carolina’s most beautiful parks.
Barefoot Landing’s Fall Live Music Series
Fridays and Saturdays, Sept. 27-28, Oct. 4-5 during the Fall Rally
Barefoot Landing is hosting free concerts on the Dockside Village Stage every Friday from 5-8 pm and Saturday from 2-5 pm through Oct. 25, weather permitting. During the Fall Rally, Alan Bibey Trio, Jared Cline, Doc Simons Band and Band on Fire will perform.

Chili fans in town for the Fall Rally can check out the International Chili Society’s 57th annual World Chili Cook-off at the Beach ‘n Chili Fest at the Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place. The festival will offer chili tastings, live music, vendors and a car show.

The 2024 Fall Rally will overlap with Crooked Hammock Brewery’s annual Crooktoberfest. From Sept. 6 to Oct. 6 the brewery offers a special menu and unique events. On Fridays and Saturdays, Crooktoberfest will have live music and on Saturday, Oct. 5, the brewery will host a pretzel toss competition with a $100 prize.
Irish Italian International Festival

On the first Saturday of the Fall Rally, the city of North Myrtle Beach will host its 20th annual Irish Italian International Festival on Main Street. The outdoor festival will feature two stages with Irish, Italian, Reggae and other live music performances, street performers, vendors and food.

If you’re both a biker and a gearhead, don’t miss the Grand Strand British Car Club’s show featuring British and European cars and motorcycles. The car show will be Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm, but the weekend will include other events like a best hat competition, an English tea and raffles.

Another local shopping opportunity, Vintage Market Days at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center is an indoor-outdoor market selling original art, antiques, jewelry, clothes, decor, furniture, plants and more.
OktoberFest at Barefoot Landing

Barefoot Landing will also host an OktoberFest celebration with live music, contests and German-themed food and drinks at participating restaurants and dessert spots. Visitors can score 10% off food and non-alcoholic drinks at participating restaurants with a $10 wristband.
Surfside Beach Family Festival

Families in town for the Fall Rally can enjoy live music, kids’ activities, local vendors and food at the Surfside Beach Family Festival on Surfside Drive. The free outdoor festival is scheduled for Saturday, but will be moved to Sunday if the weather is bad.

The Water Lantern Festival at the Grand Park Athletic Complex is the perfect place to reflect, connect and contemplate. Visitors who purchase a ticket receive a wristband, floating lantern kit, LED candle, commemorative bag, marker and playing and conversation cards.

As the Fall Rally festivities conclude, visitors can get in the fall spirit at Brookgreen Gardens for the Harvest Home Weekend. With autumn favorites like a pumpkin patch and scarecrow building, plus a hay maze, free face painting and a variety of craft tables for kids, the event is great for families.
