After seeing scrapbooking nights and knitting tutorials all over my TikTok feed, I’m finally doing it—I’m entering my crafting era. While I’m excited to start some new hobbies while hibernating inside, I’m a little bit more excited about the craft nights than the actual crafting. Knitting a scarf sounds alright, but knitting with giggle juice and antipasto skewers sounds INCREDIBLE. Plus, everyone knows that having other people to hold you accountable makes starting a new project so much easier. So, I’m hosting craft nights to not only force myself to keep up with my new hobbies, but as an excuse to enjoy all my favorite bite-sized appetizers and cocktails (and mocktails!) with friends. So whether craft nights happen regularly on your calendar or you want to start a new tradition, these apps and drinks will keep you motivated to actually use all those supplies you bought for those 2025 resolutions.

Bee’s Knees Mocktail Spritz

Whether you're practicing dry (or damp) January or not, winter is the perfect time to swap your favorite cocktail for a mocktail. This Bee’s Knees mocktail spritz, inspired by the gin-based classic drink, has lemon, a sweet honey syrup, and is topped off with club soda.

Sushi Popcorn

This sushi-inspired popcorn is flavored with a mix of Japanese seasonings like togarashi (a chile blend) and crumbled nori (dried seaweed). The result is an umami-packed salty snack that will have you skipping ordering that sushi takeout. Worried about messy fingers? Use chopsticks!

Antipasto Skewers

Make-ahead friendly and completely customizable, this versatile app adds a boost of fresh flavor to any spread it's served at. The best thing about this bite-sized appetizer? Because it's on a skewer, you run no risk of messy fingers turning into a messy craft.

Cheese Ball Bites

These easy bites are perfect for any party, which is why we serve them so often. We love their little pretzel handles, but feel free to leave them out or even make one huge cheeseball instead!

Giggle Juice

Get ready to be giggling with your friends all night long once you've had a few of these extra-sweet cocktails. This fruity drink is filled with wine, lemonade, and vodka, which is pretty much the most delicious, irresistible drink combo. This punch makes up to 8 servings, so it's ideal for a crowd.

Reuben Pickle Bites

I'm all about a good reuben sandwich. Creamy dressing, corned beef, Swiss cheese… what’s not to love? To turn this sandwich into a bite-sized snack, we replaced the bread with an all-star ingredient: pickles. Don't worry about the mess—we use toothpicks to make these as less-messy as possible.

Pimento Cheese-Stuffed Mini Peppers

Stuffed mini peppers (especially cheesy ones) are such an easy appetizer to throw together and are always a crowd-pleaser. In my opinion, pimento cheese is infinitely better when it’s served warm, and a small pepper becomes the perfect vessel for it in this recipe

Pineapple BBQ Meatballs

These pineapple BBQ meatballs are juicy, tender, and glazed to perfection in a sauce made with sweet pineapple chunks. Stick a toothpick into each meatball, and you've got an easy appetizer that's hearty enough to power you through your crafting.

Peanut Chicken Wonton Cups

If you’re tired of appetizers that are harder to assemble than the entrée, you’ve come to the right place. These peanut chicken wonton cups are super simple to put together and packed with flavor. Tender shredded rotisserie chicken gets tossed in a spicy-sweet peanut sauce, stuffed in a crispy baked wonton shell, and topped with bright, colorful, and crunchy veggies.

Tiramisu Dip

Classic tiramisu is a no-bake labor of love and the perfect ending to nearly any meal. What do you do when you’re craving tiramisu, but you don’t have the time or patience to chill it for hours? Enter tiramisu dip. It’s got all the right flavors—creamy mascarpone, rich espresso, and a generous dusting of cocoa powder—and it comes together in just 10 minutes.

Fireside Negroni

Move over, hot toddy—there's a new hot drink in town, and the name is fireside negroni. We dressed up the tried and true negroni with Earl Grey tea and a touch of maple syrup. The tea adds notes of bergamot and citrus, and the maple syrup gives a touch of rich sweetness that welcomes another sip, and another sip, and another, until it’s time to put the kettle back on for another cocktail.

Veggie Peel Chips

Food is expensive these days, and there’s no reason to waste good-for-you and tasty vegetable peels that often get discarded. Instead, turn them into a crispy snack everyone will love. Often packed with more beneficial vitamins and minerals than the produce inside, vegetable peels should be enjoyed (alongside your favorite dip, of course).

Kalimotxo Cola Punch

The kalimotxo took the interweb by storm earlier this year, giving “sophisticated sangria” vibes as a composed cocktail, and with this recipe, it's easier than ever to make and serve to a crowd.
