Cynthia Erivo may have shot to global fame this year thanks to her portrayal of Elphaba in Wicked, but the British actor has been serving iconic moments for the best part of a decade already – both on and off the screen.
After training at London's renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Erivo cut her teeth on the West End stage, before graduating to Broadway, where she won several awards for her performance in The Color Purple.
