2018 iHeartRadio MMVAs red carpet hits and misses
On Sunday night, the streets of Toronto were transformed into the biggest street party of the summer: the 2018 iHeartRadio MMVAs.
The annual awards show is rebranding itself with a new name (farewell, MuchMusic Video Awards!) and scrapping its mid-June kick-off to summer date in favour of a late-August broadcast to send fangirls and fanboys back-to-school with one last music extravaganza.

Hosted by “Crazy Rich Asians” star and YouTube sensation, Awkwafina, the awards show boasts Canadian star-power with two performances by Pickering, Ont. native and pop music heartthrob, Shawn Mendes.
Halsey, Meghan Trainor and Alessia Cara will all take the stage, with special guest appearances by “This Is Us” star, Chrissy Metz, supermodel Tyra Banks and Olympian Gus Kenworthy.
