As a loyal Costco member (13 years and counting), I rely on the warehouse to keep my family fueled week after week. I stock up on staple ingredients that I use for daily dinners including diced tomatoes, canned tuna, and my beloved rosemary Parmesan bread. My cart is usually filled with tried-and-true groceries that I buy on repeat, but sometimes a new (or new-to-me) item catches my eye.

Just recently, I added three dinner finds to my regular rotation. They’ve already simplified the making of the evening meal and made it more delicious. The best part is, each of these bulk buys is $12 or less at the warehouse (or a few dollars more online).

1. Panera Bread Broccoli Cheddar Soup

Panera Bread is a suburban shopping center staple that knows how to do soups, salads, and sandwiches right. I’ve been ordering Panera’s broccoli cheddar soup since my high school days, so imagine my excitement when I spotted the very same soup at Costco. I serve this cozy, cheesy soup with a sprinkling of freshly grated cheddar, cracked black pepper, and a hunk of baguette from Costco’s bakery. It’s also delicious spooned over baked potatoes or tossed with cooked pasta.

2. Bibigo Cooked Sticky White Rice

I have walked past the bulk-size box of Bibigo Cooked Sticky White Rice more times than I can count. I always talked myself out of it, convinced that I didn’t need this shortcut when I have a perfectly good rice cooker at home. On a particularly busy week recently, I added a box of rice bowls to my cart, and I’m never going back!

Bibigo’s Cooked Sticky White Rice was the top choice last year’s The Kitchn’s Groceries Essentials, clinching the title for best microwavable rice, so I knew it would taste good. I love that the rice is portioned into single servings, so that I can easily heat one up for a quick lunch or afternoon snack. The price per bowl of rice breaks down to about $1 per serving, completely worth it for me especially given the convenience and quality.

3. Wildbrine Organic Raw Sauerkraut

I rarely ate or cooked with sauerkraut until I tried this kielbasa and sauerkraut skillet dinner last year from our deputy food editor, Kristina. Now I can’t get enough of the crisp, tangy, sour condiment. Costco sells organic raw sauerkraut from Wildbrine, which is made with just three ingredients: organic green cabbage, salt, and garlic.

Diners are often generous with the corned beef when assembling reuben sandwiches, but what I want more of is the sauerkraut. That’s why I’m making them at home now, followed by sauerkraut-stuffed quesadillas and sauerkraut-topped pizzas

Buy: Wildbrine Organic Raw Sauerkraut, $9.49 for 50 ounces at Costco or $11.99 at Instacart
